Fabtech Engineering Solutions Limited is owned and operated by Arron Emmerson and Edan Brookland of Timaru, with over 25 years in the engineering and mechanical fields. The fully equipped engineering workshop situated in the industrial section of Washdyke opened the doors on 17th December 2018 after purchasing Progressive Engineering (Timaru) Ltd and currently employs a team of 13 – including fitter welders / sheet metal workers / certified welders and machinists.

The Company has been involved in all facets of the engineering and sheet metal trades, both locally and in various locations around New Zealand. Much of the work undertaken has been associated with the increasing demand from the local food manufacturing industries and the building/construction industries.

Whether a project is in the marine, building and construction, food industry, water, agriculture sector or even custom it is important to Fabtech Engineering Solutions Limited that we ensure all engineering projects are completed safe, stable, and built to last. Fabtech engineers, fabricates, develops, tests, modifies, installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains a wide variety of works to high standards.
We have a 120-ton brake press with a 4-metre bed, 3-metre guillotine capable of cutting up to 8mm mild steel plate, 4-foot rollers able to roll 8mm plate plus various smaller rollers, and plasma cutters. Welding capability with all materials and a small fully equipped machine shop.
